After serving nearly three decades in law enforcement, Sal retired as a Lieutenant, having held leadership roles in patrol operations, tactical response, academy instruction, and professional training. His firsthand investigative experience brings a level of realism and authenticity to every Darrius Blue novel, where evidence matters, justice has consequences, and the truth is never easy to uncover.
